Boca Laguna was designed specifically for water skiing and wakeboarding and is built to International standard. The banks of the lake are specifically designed to not create backwash and has been built long and narrow which protects it from adverse wind conditions. The lake is fed by Natural Spring water so the lake is always clean and clear.   Boca Laguna will be host to the Under 21 Water Ski World Champions in 2009, the Central American Games 2010 and the Pan American Water Skiing Championships in 2011.
